My Story

You Ready?

This Is My Story

Just An Ordinary Guy. I’m not very good at selling myself to an audience…. But f**k it. Let me try!

I am born and raised from Liverpool, UK. My hometown. So you either support the reds or the blues…. I support the reds. Which is Liverpool Football Club of course. Standard!

LET’S BEGIN….

WHO AM I? A lad who used to be that shy, he might as well of been a mute. (No disrespect meant). When I was younger, I suffered from anxiety and self image. Social anxiety was the biggest killer for me. I hated the way I looked. I was bullied. I tried to change the way I was everyday. No matter what…. I didn’t fit in anywhere. It sounds corny, but music was my escape.

I first started with piano/keyboard lessons in school, which progressed into forming a band with my friends after we left a few years later. It didn’t last long, but those times of band practice, I cherished. We got drunk. Smoked some weed. Played video games or got inspired to do music. As you know, it can bring out different vibes and feelings to a track. It was also the first time i learnt how to produce/compose a song. It was bliss. That was one of the most happiest times of my life. I wrote my first raps and even recorded my first rap with the band so I can always reminisce about them good times. I even attempted singing lessons. YES! I SAID SINGING LESSONS! It didn’t last, mainly because I was an awful singer😂 Still it did not stop my teacher making me perform on karaoke though! Though it come as a surprise, I took a very good friend of mine with me to perform in a run down karaoke bar opposite the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool. As predicted, them lessons didn’t last, what did last though was the ability of me not giving a f*** as much. I know this, because my performance was terrible (I know this due to the sympathetic claps). But still didn’t care.

But then unfortunately, it got overshadowed by the bad times. When I was with the band, we never recorded my favourite genre of music. I thought my love for Rap/Hip-hop would make an interesting twist to the band. But with no fault to anyone, I felt my love for rap was being compressed, while others shined. After an unfortunate run of events, the band split.
